Privacy
Last updated 7 June 2026. Plain English. This is a summary of our practices, not formal legal advice.
The Daily Time Drop is a static website with no user accounts and no login. We are privacy-first by design and collect as little as possible. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of you.
What we collect
- Anonymous, aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless. It records aggregate page views and referrers to help us understand which episodes people enjoy. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites. No personal data is collected.
- Story suggestions. If you use the suggestion form, we receive the details you choose to send (such as your name, email, and idea) so we can consider them for the show. We use them for that purpose only.
What we don’t do
- No advertising or cross-site tracking.
- No selling or sharing of your data with data brokers.
- No non-essential cookies (so there is no cookie banner — see Cookies).
Hosting
The site is served from Cloudflare’s global edge network. Standard server logs may be processed transiently by Cloudflare to deliver the site securely and defend against abuse.
How long we keep things
Analytics are aggregate and time-limited by Cloudflare. Story suggestions are kept only as long as needed to consider and, where relevant, produce an episode, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, request a copy, or ask us to delete it. Get in touch via the contact page and we will help.
